“El Gazul” Cured Goat’s Cheese
El Gazul cured goat’s cheese has been cured for more than 3 months. Only natural ingredients such as pasteurised goat’s milk, lactic ferments, calcium, animal fat, rennet and salt are used in its production.
This cheese, with its hard texture and intense flavour and smell, is covered with a thin layer of olive oil to protect it. This distinctive identity has earned it a gold medal at the World Cheese Awards in 2018.
El Gazul cheese dairy not only uses artisan methods but also follows organic farming. This is based on some basic criteria such as:
- Preserving the environment from pollution.
- To be respectful of animal welfare.
- The supplementary feeding of animals should not exceed 50%.
- Use of local food resources.
