Manzanilla wine Gutiérrrez Colosía has a golden colour as well as it has a delicate and light smell. In addition, it is elaborated with ecologic manzanilla.
This kind of wine is also elaborated with the “Palomino” grapes and it is a biologic wine, so Manzanilla wine should be served very cold. Indeed, it has 15% alcohol.
Since 1838, the winery called Gutiérrez Colosía has been found in the bay of Cádiz (south of Spain), in the mouth of the Guadalete’s river. Besides, the dry and wet winds of the Atlantic ocean allows the humidity to be regulated, so, in that way, the wines, vinegars and brandys have better conditions. This characteristic gives the perfect humidity to the wines for their biologic breeding.
In 1969, the Gutiérrez-Colosía family bought the ruins of the Palace of the Count of Cumbrehermosa, which already had a winery, and they built two more warehouses.
The Gutiérrez-Colosía wines are high quality wines due to the fantastic system of breeding that the winery has. In addition to this, the structure of this winery is characterized by very high buildings with a lot of arcs inside of them which expose the wide variety of wines of which we can enjoy in Jerez.
