Caletera Blonde Ipa (also called American Ipa) is an all-natural, handcrafted, double fermented beer. This beer stands out for its great character and is a hop bomb. It is brewed with one of the world’s most prized and valued hops; Mosaic hops, which is an original hop from the United States.

This type of hop is one of the most interesting hops on the market, as it is used for many types of beers, such as Pale Ale or Ipa, as it provides a fine bitterness and balance, transmitting a great flavour with a floral character and hints of tropical fruits such as blueberry and grapefruit. Mosaic is rich in citrus aromas that depend on the malts.

For the brewing of Caletera Blonde Ipa, only water, hops, barley malt and yeast have been used. In order to preserve all its vitamins and to avoid loss of aromas, the beer is neither filtered nor pasteurised. This means that it may contain lees.

Moreover, its production has been carried out by the brewery located in El Puerto de Santa María (in the province of Cádiz), MCJ Cerveceros Portuenses S.L. A company dedicated to the production of 100% natural beers, as no chemical components are added nor is the fermentation process forced at any time.
