Sheep cheese in lard – La Oliva 300g
Sheep cheese is made in drier areas because sheep need less pasture to survive. Sheep cheeses can be very soft or can go through a ripening process. After that period is when a semi-mature or mature cheese is produced.
Generally, sheep cheese is more creamy and aromatic than cow cheese.
Ingredients: Pasteurized sheep’s milk, pork lard (coating), salt, calcium chloride, rennet, lysozyme (derived from egg), lactic ferments.
