This book offers a tour of the culinary traditions of the province. Also, it collects more than 50 recipes of the most typical dishes.
“Cádiz una Provincia para comérsela” is the second book of the publishing house Ediciones Mayi about gastronomy. The first one is a guide to the city of Cádiz in which it is included a gastronomic tour of the town.
Ana Mayi, director of the publishing house, points out that the book has been an adventure for her. This is due to the fact that it has allowed María Luisa to travel through all the towns in the province, learning and exploring its gastronomy: “We have discovered many things and I invite everyone to take this tour, it is exciting ”
Mayi has collaborated with María Luisa in the making of the book and has even made some of the photos that appear. For Ucero it is his first book. With 50 years, she has been working for 30 years in the Retail Market Association of Cádiz (Asodemer). The gastronomy interests her since childhood.
More than 200 pages in which María Luisa narrates numerous culinary traditions of the province. Structured by geographical areas and towns of the province. From each one comes, at least, a typical recipe with an explanation. It also includes photos that explain “step by step” how the preparation is done.
