The Amerigo Vespucci Brandy is aged in oak barrels following the traditional system of criaderas and soleras, with at least 8 years of ageing.

From 1838, the winery Bodega Gutiérrez Colosía is situated in the bay of Cádiz, in southern Spain. In 1969, the Gutiérrez-Colosía family bought the ruins of the Palace of the Count of Cumbrehermosa, which already had a winery, and they built two more warehouses.
