Anchovies of Santoña Conservas Angelachu
Santoña anchovies from Angelachu Preserves (Cantabria) are handmade one by one, using the traditional and artisan method of hand-grinding the anchovies, which preserves all the qualities of this great product.
This tin contains between 28 and 30 fillets. Each anchovy is hand-grilled by hand using traditional nets, thus achieving a higher quality that is reflected in the flavour and texture of the product.
They can be enjoyed on their own or with other artisan or gourmet products.
Conservas Angelachu was created in Santoña at the end of the 1990s, with the experience of four generations of professional fishmongers and canners. In their production process, they seek the quality of the raw material with seasonal fish obtained by hand. They are very committed to taking care of the traditional processes.
The fish arrives from the main fish markets where fresh fish of the ideal size and quality is selected. Once in the factory, they begin with the traditional salting process. They take great care throughout its evolution to achieve the highest quality. After the maturing time has elapsed, the anchovies are prepared one by one using the hand-pressed method, which involves a lot of work and therefore a higher cost, but the quality of the anchovies is unequalled. All their products stand out for their presentation, texture and flavour.
