Description
Amontillado wine Gutiérrez Colosía 750ml
This Amontillado Gutiérrez-Colosía wine (750 ml) could be described as an old and dry wine, with at least three years of biological aging and five years in barrels. The wine shares some characteristics of the Fine wine and the Oloroso wine. Moreover, it has a clean and light colour along with hazelnut flavor. It is made with a variety of Palomino grapes and has 18% alcohol.
Since 1838, the winery called Gutiérrez Colosía has been found in the bay of Cádiz, in the mouth of the Guadalete’s river. This characteristic gives the perfect humidity to the wines for their biologic breeding.
In 1969, the Gutiérrez-Colosía family bought the ruins of the Palace of the Count of Cumbrehermosa, which already had a winery, and they built two more warehouses.
The Gutiérrez-Colosía wines are high quality wines due to the fantastic system of breeding that the winery has. In addition to this, the structure of this winery is characterized by very high buildings with a lot of arcs inside of them which expose the wide variety of wines of which we can enjoy in Jerez.
