Description
Organic wine Petit Forlong
Petit Forlong is a young red Crianza wine. Here we show its varieties: Syrah (60%), Merlot (20%), Tintilla de Rota (10%).
In the Petit Forlong, once the grapes are in the cellar, they are put in a cold room for 24 hours. Here the temperature drops to 4º. From that moment on, a process of grape selection, destemming and then to the earthenware vats for fermentation begins. Once fermentation is complete, the wine is transferred to oak barrels for ageing for six months.
As far as the tasting is concerned, we can say the following about its appearance. It has a medium-high cherry red colour. Dense tear. The olfactory part reminds us of flowers, some carnation, accompanied by fresh and acid red fruit such as redcurrant, all this on a deep background of cocoa. In the background, some black fruit appears. On the palate, it is powerful, with very good acidity that brings liveliness, followed by a marked tannicity that even gives a sensation of salinity.
