Description
Extra virgin olive oil Los Angeles 1L.
Oil from Montellano from the Sierra of Seville
Los Angeles” Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a coupage of lechina, manzanilla and arbequina olives.
It has an intense green colour, with golden hues that stand out for its fruity flavour, slight bitterness and genuine fragrant smell.
It is presented “en rama” or unfiltered, where small suspended solids that may remain in the oil from the olives are preserved in order to conserve all its organoleptic characteristics intact.
Cold-pressed, using mechanical processes.
It is extracted at room temperature, always below 25 ºC, and no heat is added during the process.
The Sociedad Cooperativa Agrícola Nuestra Señora de Los Ángeles (Our Lady of the Angels Agricultural Cooperative Society) honours an olive-growing history that dates back to the end of the 19th century.
It was founded in 1961 with the aim of uniting the efforts of the area’s farmers.
It is dedicated to the production and bottling of extra virgin olive oil.
It currently has 670 members and 170 collaborating members.
It mainly collects olives from the municipalities of Montellano, Morón, Coripe, Puerto Serrano, Prado del Rey, Zahara and Villamartín.
