Spanish cheese Columela Caseus Rosarum is a type of payoya goat (type of goat breed) cheese with an injection of pink wine. This kind of ecologic cheese has needed several months to be made. It is also elaborated by following the steps of Columela cheese (famous brand).
Injected with the famous pink wine, which has rebuilt by the archaeologists and winemakers from Baetica Columela, wine from the roman hispania.
It also possesses an elegant citrus smell with pink and red fruits, with a slightly spicy note.
This type of cheese can be sold in two wedges of Columela Caseus Rosarum (800 gr) or in a single wedge (400gr)
This cheese has been made to recover the flavors of the ancient Rome, and it combines the millenial recipe which the Archeagastronomy (project from the university of Cadiz to recover ancient Rome products) is elaborating.
